Endodontic Decision Making in Complex Cases: Retreatment, Surgery, and Outcomes

Most root canal therapy follows familiar patterns. Complex cases, however, require structured decision-making across retreatment, surgery, and the question of when to extract. This applied course teaches you to reason through those cases. By the end of this course you will be able to evaluate cases for nonsurgical retreatment versus apical surgery versus extraction, weigh the evidence on outcomes for different treatment paths, manage common complications, and conduct structured outcome follow-ups.
