Foundations of Nonviolent Communication for Families

Family life puts every communication skill to the test. NVC, applied with care, can change how families handle conflict, connection, and everyday talk. Sound practice rests on understanding the four components and how they translate to family contexts. This foundational course provides that base. By the end of this course you will be able to describe the four components of NVC in family contexts, recognize common family communication patterns NVC can address, identify the principles of empathic listening with children, and understand the limits of the approach.
