I picked up a ukulele for the first time last month and this course got me playing a recognizable song within a week, which felt like a small miracle. The breakdown of basic chords is patient and the instructor repeats the finger positions enough times that they actually stick. What I liked most was how each lesson built directly on the last one instead of throwing random chords at you. The pacing on strumming patterns could be a touch slower for total beginners, since my hand cramped trying to keep up at first. Even with that, I ended the course able to play through the whole song cleanly and I've kept practicing since.

मैंने पहले कभी कोई वाद्ययंत्र नहीं बजाया था, फिर भी इस कोर्स ने मुझे कुछ ही दिनों में बेसिक कॉर्ड्स सिखा दिए। हर पाठ में उंगलियों की सही पोजीशन को इतनी बार दिखाया जाता है कि याद रखना आसान हो जाता है। मुझे स्ट्रमिंग पैटर्न वाला हिस्सा सबसे मजेदार लगा, क्योंकि वहीं से गाना असली गाने जैसा लगने लगा। कोर्स खत्म करने तक मैं अपना पहला पूरा गाना बिना रुके बजा पा रही थी। अब घर में सब मुझसे उकुलेले बजाने की फरमाइश करते हैं।

The chord shapes are taught really clearly and by lesson three I could already switch between C and F without staring at my fingers. My only complaint is the strumming pattern section moves a bit fast if you've never played any instrument before. Still, having an actual song to play by the end made the practice feel worth it.

Ik had nog nooit een instrument bespeeld en toch kon ik na een paar lessen al een compleet liedje spelen, wat me echt verraste. De uitleg over de basisakkoorden is stap voor stap opgebouwd, zonder dat het overweldigend voelt. Vooral het onderdeel over het wisselen tussen akkoorden vond ik heel behulpzaam, want dat was voor mij het lastigste deel. De instructeur laat elke beweging vaak genoeg zien dat je hem gewoon kunt volgen zonder terug te spoelen. Aan het einde kon ik het lied vloeiend spelen en had ik ineens zin om meer liedjes te leren.
