I picked this up after years of wanting to learn crochet but never actually starting because I assumed it would be confusing to teach myself. The early lessons on holding the hook and tensioning the yarn were so clear that my stitches actually looked even within the first session. From there it moves into simple shapes and small projects without ever feeling rushed, each new skill builds naturally on what came before. By the end I'd made an actual scarf that doesn't look like a beginner made it, which honestly surprised me. If you've been putting off learning because you think you need someone showing you in person, this proves you don't.

Ich hatte vorher noch nie eine Häkelnadel in der Hand gehabt und war ziemlich unsicher, ob ich das überhaupt hinkriege. Der Kurs fängt wirklich bei null an, mit den Grundmaschen, bevor es zu den ersten kleinen Projekten geht. Jede Lektion baut logisch auf der vorherigen auf, sodass man nie das Gefühl hat, etwas übersprungen zu haben. Nach ein paar Wochen konnte ich schon ein kleines Mützchen fertigstellen, das tatsächlich wie professionell gemacht aussieht. Die Erklärungen zu den einzelnen Maschen waren so klar, dass ich nie das Video zurückspulen musste. Für alle, die komplett bei null anfangen, ist das der perfekte Einstieg.

I'd never held a hook before and within a week I'd finished a little washcloth I was actually proud of. The way the basic stitches are broken down, slip knot, chain, single crochet, made everything click for me. Now I can't stop making coasters for everyone I know.

Tığı elime ilk kez aldığımda nereden tutacağımı bile bilmiyordum, şimdi kendi yaptığım küçük tabaklıkları her yere koyuyorum. Zincir ve temel iğnelerin anlatımı o kadar sade ki, takılan her yerde geri dönüp rahatça tekrar okudum. İlk projemi bitirdiğimde gerçekten gurur duydum. İlmekleri eşit tutma konusundaki ipuçları işimi çok kolaylaştırdı, çünkü ilmeklerim hep gevşek kalıyordu. Akşamları örgü örmek en sevdiğim dinlenme anım oldu. Sıfırdan başlayan herkese içtenlikle tavsiye ederim.

Tığ tutmayı bile bilmiyordum ama bu kurs gerçekten sıfırdan başlatıyor. Temel ilmeklerden başlayıp adım adım küçük projelere geçiyorsunuz, hiç yorulmuyorsunuz. Şimdi kendi yaptığım ilk şapkayı gururla takıyorum.

I'd never touched a crochet hook before and the early lessons on basic stitches were really clear. The pacing slows down a bit in the middle when it jumps into shaping, so I had to rewatch a couple of sections. Still finished my first simple project looking genuinely presentable.
